The Samurai Hoody
Connects the Japanese roots of our main martial arts with our tribal name the ‘Traditional Warriors’ with the symbol of a Warrior in Japanese - a ‘Samurai”. Though you may suggest I am more of a Ronin, as this is someone without a master - generally a Samurai who has left his tribe. Thankfully the rest of you have a master, well someone in charge at least in myself.
The Samurai element is symbolised by the Kanji symbol (Japanese writing) on the front of the top. Not only does this reflect our martial art origins but to be a “Samurai” or Warrior is a way of life and not just the skills. The deeper meaning to being a Warrior in Japan is one of respect, dedication and as a role model to society. These traits are ones I always come back to from the “Bushido” (the way of the Warrior).
On the back we have the updated 3 strokes symbol. This was the very first symbol of the Traditional Warriors - 3 lines. This time it is 3 brush strokes to keep with the Japanese theme of flow and skill. The ideology behind the three lines is to symbolise the three traditional martial arts which creates the Traditional Warriors of Aikido, Judo and Karate.
This hoody comes in light Grey (as shown) only.

The Viking Hoody
This hoody is a nod to the Nordic Warriors of strength and courage, a top descending from the almighty Odin plus with a pinch of the Zeppelin song mixed with a little Thor Ragnarok for good measure.
It’s a style and period which encapsulates the warrior spirit.
On the back is a take of on the “Helm of Awe”, a symbol viking warriors would wear in to battle as it is a sign of protection. Incased in the design is the ‘X’ or cross at the bottom symbolising strength and the arrow head at the top (Tiwaz) which has several meanings but for me it was the meaning of “principles” and the symbol of the “spiritual warrior” which is why I included them.
Then the odd looking symbol on the front is my version of the “tree of life”, but I couldn't draw a tree therefore I went with a ruin style one. The reason for this is, at the point of creating these hoodies the Traditional Warriors turned 5 years old and “wood” is the symbol of this anniversary - therefore is all fitted together quite neatly.
This hoody comes in charcoal only (as shown.)
And there you have it!
So the next time you put on your Warriors hoody, you aren’t just putting on a top but the meaning of the dojo.
